JERRY’S PLAINS
Settled 140 years ago,
this tranquil village was developing into a major centre until the
railway went to Singleton, and took business with it. There are
several vineyards in the vicinity. St James’ Anglican Church, an
attractive 1870s building of rough faced sandstone, stands on Pagan Street.
